All About Autism: Explaining Autism to Your Family

Autism and Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA)

A 2 day workshop for parents and professionals at the Summit Centre, 940 Prince Rd. Parents are encouraged to bring someone for support. $10 per family and $20 for professionals. To reserve your space please call 519-255-1195.

Parents Group & Sibling Group: Anxiety
Monday, November 23 from 5pm - 6:30 pm
Presented by the Summit Centre for Preschool Children with Autism at 940 Prince Road in Windsor. Come and meet new families and make new connections. At the Parents Meeting we will provide a round table discussion and pizza. The Siblings Group for ages 4 to 12 years will include games and crafts, talks and stories about having a sibling with autism, snacks and pizza. RSVP to Jackie at 519-255-1195. All About Autism: Funding Options Throughout the Lifespan

Information will be presented by Family Respite Services on funding for individuals from 0 to 18 years. Windsor-Essex Brokerage will discuss transition to adulthood and funding availability for 18plus years. All About Autism 2009/2010 Schedule
All About Autism offers a series of FREE workshops throughout the year, usually on the second Wednesday of the month starting at 6:30pm and ending at 9:00pm. The workshops take place at the ASI Library and are ideal for parents, respite workers, and other family members or caregivers of a person with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Many teachers, educational assistants, and students in the ABS and education programs also attend the workshops. A complete 2009/2010 All About Autism Workshop Schedule is available here.

ASI Library Location

ASI Library is located at Autism Services Inc. 3600 Curry Avenue (map), (just north of Cabana and across the street from St. Gabriel Catholic School). Parking is available at Corpus Christi Church (formerly St. Gabriel Church).
